Puerto Rican Nationalists and the Wells Fargo bank robbery of 1983

On September 12, 1983, 25 year old Victor Manuel Gerena, executed a plot that would land him on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list. Gerena was part of a heist in West Hartford, Connecticut, known as the Águila Blanca or White Eagle heist where he successfully robbed a Wells Fargo Depot of 7 million dollars in cash. At the time it was the largest cash robbery in U.S. history.
