Hey, my philosophy buddies. So what is Philosophy?

Wisdom of knowledge, would be a bookish answer. But to a philosopher or someone interested in philosophy like me, it has a greater definition. It’s both a way of thinking and of living life. Good, bad, right, wrong, are questions asked regularly in philosophy.

And the answers are eternal. Or as much as you could think and find.

But during these decades I hear thing like Philosophy dying. But every time you lose faith in something, especially something as powerful as philosophy a new door opens. Something sparks and you are filled with unwavering belief. Such was a thing which happened to me.

But all I’ll say right now is that philosophy won’t be dead, not for a long time or at least until I’m alive. And YouTube a platform is.

And guys it’s good to be back again with another video and it is something that I too have loved making and watching. And I hope, you guys could share my joy over this video which I hope is both informative and interesting at the same time.

And also as I said already two times in the video, that these are just a small bunch of many other such channels out there. So please don’t take everything in this video as an absolute truth.

Getting Ready for the Rest of It is a series of preparedness videos for Poor, Queer, BIPOC and other groups marginalized and oppressed by white, capitalist, settler, colonial and other violences. We look at getting ready for sheltering in place scenarios and also for those of us that might find out we have to go on the move to stay alive. I provide lots of info and resources to get the gears turning in your heads.

On this channel we believe that Black Lives Matter. We believe in the abolition of prisons, capitalism and white supremacy. This is not a channel for debate. Go somewhere else.

You deserve to survive these times. To live through them, and when they're over, to thrive. Let's do this.
