Most Decorated Vietnam Veteran- Jorge Otero Barreto

He is known as the most decorated soldier of the Vietnam War. Born on April 7th of 1937 in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, Jorge Otero Barretto was at first being groomed for medical school in Spain after studying biology for three years in college, however as fate would have it, he would instead join the US army and become one of the most prominent soldiers in US history.
He served in the 101st Airborne Division, 25th Infantry Division, 82nd Airborn Division, and the 173rd Airborne Brigade. He volunteered in over 200 combat missions and was wounded five times during combat. It was these missions that would earned him the name Puerto Rican Rambo and Sergeant Rock.
